Exercise Program: Day 20 – Sledding

This is day 2 of no school due to weather incidents and it’s been great! I’ve been doing a bit more hanging out than usually, so it’s nice to be connecting with old friends. Exercise Program: Day 19 – My Last Running Day

I just realized that this was the last running day of this exercise program and tomorrow is my last day period. It’s kind of exciting because I didn’t realize I was so close to being done. Exercise Program: Day 17 – Strength Training Benefits for Runners

As you know, today was a cardio day for me and my goal was to run for 30 minutes straight. I’m getting back into running, so my focus right now is to increase my endurance.

Exercise Program: Day 16 – Strength Training

Today was my strength training day. Nothing too fancy from what I’ve done in the past. I was running a bit late, so I rushed through exercises, and skipped some, so I could shower and get ready for a meeting I had. Exercise Program: Day 13 – Joint Alignment

Monday’s workout was pretty intense and I still felt a little sore yesterday, so I decided to take it easy buy doing some stretching today. I wanted to originally do yoga, but I couldn’t find the dvd, so stretching was the next best thing.

Exercise Program: Day 12 – iPod Death

I was so frustrated today because midrun, my iPod died. I had only run for about seven minutes and then boom, everything went silent.

Exercise Program: Day 11 – New Fitness Workout Sheet

After working out today, I realized I needed to make a quick change to fitness workout sheet you can download off this blog. Last week we spent time testing our 1 rep max and now we can use this information to design our strength training workouts. I’ve provided a space where you can write down your 1RM’s for each exercise you tested for.
